I have had the pleasure of preforming with them locally at Musikfest, July 4th Fireworks, Windcreek Outlets and Casino Resort and Monsters of Hip Hop. Not only could I be pushed harder to reach my potential through the competitive teams, but Excel was a great opportunity to be able to travel and perform for the world! They have already performed in Australia, England and Italy. I audition for their competition team and Excel Dance Company, a non-profit traveling dance company which Sharon Plessl Pongracz also directs. I first began taking lessons at Sharon Plessl School of Dance for fun, but I wanted something more and my instructors saw that spark in me as well. Tell me about the competition and traveling teams you are involved in and how both teams have felt like a second family to you. DANCE IS MY LIFE and will always be a part of me.
With every new step I become more inspired, passionate, and disciplined. My passion for dance has grown more and more every day from the very first time I stepped onto the dance floor. No matter what I feel, dance is always there for me to get me through my day. Dancing has given me an outlet to deal with my emotions. What I love about dance the most is being able to express myself. What do you love most about dancing, and how has your passion for dance impacted your life since you were little?
